Update July: Of course you’ve heard about the US House Financial Services Committee passing the sportsbook bill. It’s a big deal. But don’t get too excited yet, because it still has to get through the House and the rest of Congress. And the President. And if my experience has taught me anything, the Executive and Legislative branches can make it extremely difficult to pass a bill that says water is wet, let alone a landmark set of resolutions that pretty much overrides every previous ruling on the matter…
As you can imagine, of that were to get passed it would mean a lot for the industry. It is on a springboard ready to leap into the realm of big business and entertainment. It’s really very exciting time to be around it all, you know?
